This past week I sat down with Anna to ask her a few questions about what she thought about my job. As far as mom’s (and jobs) go, I am pretty non-traditional and I think it’s funny to hear her perspective. I’ve had this idea for awhile because anytime we talk she surprises me with her adult thinking. It was such a cute exercise and it’s something that we both really enjoyed. I had some questions in mind but as we were talking I changed some of them to do follow ups. I recommend doing it with your kids because it was such a cute moment of connection for us. And yes, sometimes I yell. Needless to say, I will be doing more girl time and am definitely booking a hip hop class for us to take together!

How cute is she? I guess I’ll be taking a trip to Paris in the near future. I loved this idea for Anna and I can’t wait to do it with Max. I think I’ll make this a yearly tradition and record their answers in a book and give it to them when they go to college. I never finished their baby books so it’s the least I can do.
